Genesol 40 - Acidic Membrane Cleaner
Brand : Genesys
Appearance : colourless liquid
PH as supplied: 3.5-4.0
Specific gravity: 1.171.20
Freezing point : - 0°C
Application of Genesol 40 - Acidic Membrane Cleaner:
For optimal performance, apply Genesol 38
as a 3-4% solution, soaking and recycling it alternately through the membrane
system for 1-2 hours. The cleaning solution's pH stabilizes at 3.7; if it
exceeds 4.2, replace it with a fresh solution. Follow membrane manufacturers
guidelines, cleaning at 25- 30°C. After cleaning, neutralize Genesol 38
solutions to pH 6-8 with an alkaline solution before discharge to prevent
damage to concrete and cement-lined pipes. Thoroughly flush the membrane system
before returning to service, ensuring pH alignment. Despite initial high
product water conductivity, it normalizes after a few hours. Genesol 38 is
dilutable and fully miscible with water in all proportions. Trust in Genesys
Chemicals for advanced water treatment solutions, including Genesis Antiscalant
and RO Antiscalant, ensuring excellence in every application.
